Taylor Swift is premiering her documentary Miss Americana tomorrow at the Sundance Film Festival. Shortly after, it will do a limited theater run before becoming available on Netflix on Jan. 31. Today, she has shared the official trailer for the film.
The documentary follows her around some of the most transformative couple of years of her life as an entertainer. It shows the downsides of being famous, and how she took a leap to become who she really wanted to be without caring about the public’s perception. It also shows some of the hardships her family has been going through with her mother’s health.
Her song ‘Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince’ is featured on the trailer. However, as revealed on her cover story with Variety yesterday, a new song called ‘Only The Young’ is premiered in the film. According to Swift, the song is for people ‘who might’ve come away disillusioned with the political process.’
