Travis Barker scared the world when he was rushed to a hospital on Tuesday. The Blink 182 drummer, with wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side, arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as he was suffering from severe pancreatitis. New details reveal that he was dealing with horrifying pain.
A source close to the couple told E! News, “”He was in extreme pain yesterday, and he and Kourtney were both really worried. It was to the point where he could barely walk.”
Thankfully, it looks like that Barker is on the way to full recovery. The source also revealed that after spending the night at the hospital, he was feeling better.
His pancreatitis is set to have developed as a result of a colonoscopy. He had recently underwent that procedure.
This is not the first time that Kourtney’s hubby spends time at a hospital. In 2008, he was involved in a plane crash from which seven people died. He survived but was left with third-degree burns on his body. Then, in 2018, Barker was once again taken in for having blood clots in both of his arms as a result of a staph infection.
There’s no denying that Barker is lucky to be alive.
His daughter, Alabama Barker, shared a grateful message for fans on social media. “Thank you guys for all the prayers and love. I appreciate you and love all of you.”
His stepdaughter from his last marriage, Atiana De La Hoya, also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans writing, “Thank you for the outpouring of love and prayers sent our way at this time. It is heard, felt and appreciated. Xx.”
