Troye Sivan is kicking off a new era strong.
After weeks of teasing it with steamy photos and clips, the Aussie singer has finally released his new single ‘Rush’ along with its music video. And on top of that, he has revealed details on his first album since 2018’s Bloom. It is called Something To Give Each Other – set for release Oct. 13.
“This album is my something to give you – a kiss on a dancefloor, a date turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer. Party after party, after party after party. Heartbreak, freedom. Community, sisterhood, friendship. All that,” he wrote on an Instagram post about his upcoming record.
Lead single ‘Rush’ is a dance party for the ear; its lyrics full of innuendos. The Gordon von Steiner-directed video encapsulates it all very well: the body-to-body contact choreo, sights of human skin, and the overall feeling of personal liberation.
If ‘Rush’ is any indication of what’s to come on Something To Give Each Other, we are in for a treat.
