The Weeknd is commemorating the three-year anniversary of his EP My Dear Melancholy with an amateur visual for the song ‘Try Me’ which was recorded with his iPhone on selfie-mode.
The singer took to Twitter to put out the video with a simple: ‘found this on my camera roll.’
It features Abel singing along to the track as several humans get tangled up in the backseat of the car. The passionate video ends with him turning the camera over in the direction of the parking lot where two women are seen embracing each other.
My Dear Melancholy was his first extended play released in 2018 between albums (Starboy in 2016 and After Hours in 2020). It debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 200.
