Elizabeth Warren go get the Arctic Monkeys right now!
I guess the Bernie Bros like the kind of music you can find at (some of my favorite) sites like Stereogum and Pitchfork. It turns out that Bernie Sanders – well his campaign most likely – has the obtained the helping hand of The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, and Bon Iver. These three bands will perform at Get Out The Vote rallies starting this weekend in hopes that younger people will show up to vote for Bernie.

The Strokes won’t play until the Feb. 10 rally ahead of the New Hampshire primary. However, Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend this week on Jan. 31 in Clive, Iowa, and Feb. 1 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, respectively. The Iowa caucuses are next Monday, Feb. 3. The stakes are high, and apparently Bernie is on the rise, so these are last-minute efforts to make things happen.
Will it help? Probably not. I do wish it did though. I feel like a lot of the younger generations are very vocal but not very active. It’d be cool to see a bigger voter turnout than in previous years. After all, a lot is on the line.
Here’s to Bernie Sanders dancing to ‘Last Nite’ like he danced in this video below: terribly.
