A man that attended the Astroworld Festival in Houston last Friday filed a $1 million lawsuit claiming that Travis Scott and Drake incited the crowd while security guards failed to assist people in the crowd begging for help.
The Daily Mail reports that Live Nation and the Harris County Sports and Convention Corporation are also named in the papers filed today by 23 year-old Kristian Paredes.
The filing refers to the performance as a ‘deadly show’ that was allowed to go on for the sake of profit – going on to say that the performers, organizers, and the venue were aware that something was going wrong but failed to stop it.
That concert on Friday night left eight people dead and hundreds injuredeight people dead and hundreds injured. The Houston Police and Fire Departments are working alongside Live Nation and Travis Scott to figure out what went wrong in what they called a ‘very active and open investigation.’‘very active and open investigation.’
Scott took to social media in a bizarre video saying he felt ‘devastated’ and was going to help as much as he could. Throughout the short video, he seemed insencere and dazed.
This is not the first time something like this has happened at a concert by Travis Scott as he has a history of unruly performanceshistory of unruly performances that even got him arrested.
