Sabrina Carpenter is making her Island Records debut with the release of her fifth studio album Emails I Can’t Send. Her first album in three years, it features a total of 13 songs which she worked on with the likes of Julia Michaels, JP Saxe, and others.
This new LP includes the singles ‘Skinny Dipping,’ ‘Fast Times,’ and ‘Vicious.’
“It’s very autobiographical. This album is my baby in the sense that every song came from a very specific personal memory, moment,” Carpenter said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest about the album. “It is why I called emails I can’t send. It came from emails I was writing to myself before I had a therapist. I ended up just reading them back and thinking ‘oh my gosh, you need a therapist,’ and then also pulling lines from those emails.”
