Shawn Mendes just kicked off the Wonder World Tour last week. But the singer just opened up about not being ready to be on the road and has decided to postpone the next three weeks of shows.
“I’ve been touring since I was 15 and to be honest it’s always been difficult to be on the road away from friends and family,” he said in a statement. “After a few years off the road, I felt like I was ready to kick back in, but that decision was premature and unfortunately the toll of the road and the pressure has caught up to me and I’ve hit a breaking point.”
All the shows from now through the show in Uncasville on July 29 will be rescheduled. His tour will pick back up in his hometown of Toronto on July 31 and August 2.
He promised more details soon.
