Adele’s comebacks every few years are tsunamis in every sense of the way.
The demand to see the British songstress for her first two live shows in 2017 is through the roof. The pre-sale for her two shows as part of British Summer Time at Hyde Park in London next July produced a whooping 1.3 million requests for the only 130,000 available tickets according to HITS Daily Double.
Undoubtedly, the singer is going to have to announce additional live shows soon. There was talks of a stadium tour, but it seems like she is opting to stay put in Las Vegas with a residency show. A source told us yesterday that a deal is being finalized after a tug-of-war between MGM and Caesars in the last few weeks.
Adele returned with her record-breaking single ‘Easy On Me’ two weeks ago. She recently filmed her television special Adele: One Night Only which includes a concert and an interview with Oprah Winfrey. It is airing Nov. 14 on CBS. Her new album, 30, is out Nov. 19.
