Meghan Trainor Surprised By Idol Dr. Phil On Carpool Karaoke

Meghan Trainor appeared on the Carpool Karaoke segment of The Late Late Show last night to promote her new album Treat Myself. Apart from providing us with a semi-cute, semi-weird story about how she met her now-husband Daryl Sabara via Chloe Grace Moritz and the time they went on a double date alongside Brooklyn Beckham, she also details the fact that she is a huge Dr.Phil fan.
Yes, I know. WTF.
She reveals that she even went to his show on her birthday; as in, she got a ticket and sat in the audience for one of his television tapings. Who stans Dr. Phil? Let alone that, who thinks he has an answer to everything in life? Apparently, Meghan does. To each their own I guess!
During the carpool segment, James Corden (who has some eye rolls and laughs for a lot of Meghan’s stories because who wouldn’t?) surprises the ‘All That Bass’ singer with Dr. Phil! It’s as awkward as it gets. He even attempts to sing a little bit of her song which she swears he knew, but you can totally tell he didn’t actually know. Mess.
