Louis Tomlinson is ready to get things going with his second solo album, Faith In The Future, which comes out Nov. 11. To kick things off, he is giving us lead single ‘Bigger Than Me’ – a song clearly inspired by post-pandemic realization with a catchy chorus.
“It’s definitely the biggest sounding song I’ve got on the record, definitely the song that stands out as being one that should be a single,” he told Euphoria. “I wasn’t certain I was going to have one of these songs on this record that has a big chorus. It shows off my vocals, so I’m really proud of what we got out of it.”
Tomlinson’s last album, his very personal debut Walls, had a handful of these big sounding songs. That is not the only difference in this new album; he also is looking to keep themes wide with lyrics more open to interpretation.
The single’s words are pretty straightforward, however, as he sings in the chorus: “When somеbody told me I would change
I was afraid, I don’t know why
‘Cause so does the world outside, I realized.”
