The very first words to be heard from anyone during the Grammy Awards broadcast came from Lizzo: ‘tonight is for Kobe.’
Lizzo opened up the ceremony to celebrate her unreal 2019. She did a little bit of ‘Cuz I Love You’ accompanied by an orchestra. She then took off the beautiful dress she was wearing to unveil a cool, colorful bodysuit and completely own her performance of her smash hit ‘Truth Hurts.’ And it wouldn’t be a Lizzo performance, without an appearance from her famous flute Sasha.
