Get ready to shake your tits ladies and gents. Lizzo is doing the iHeartRadio Music Awards, and hopefully she’s not singing ‘Jerome.’ I actually hope she does one of her lesser-known-but-not-really bops such as ‘Tempo’ or ‘Boys.’ After all, she’s done award show performances of ‘Juice,’ ‘Truth Hurts,’ ‘Good As Hell,’ etc. multiple times. It’s time to change it up and turn it up!
Oh wait, I’m only talking about Lizzo? Gosh, sorry. There’s more.
Halsey and Usher are also taking the stage at the award show. The latter will even serve as the host of the ceremony. Who knows what the he is doing, but Halsey is likely to continue promoting her latest album Manic. Hopefully we get something as good as what she did on Saturday Night Live last weekend: yeehaw and cry-cry.
Justin Bieber was previously announced as a performer. I’m on my knees right now … praying (you dirty bastards) that he doesn’t do ‘Yummy.’ Good news it that his new album Changes will be out by then, and hopefully he changes that song if that’s the current plan.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards take place March 29 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and will air live on FOX. See the full list of nominees here.
