Little Mix just announced a special compilation album of all of their greatest hits to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The biggest British girl group since the Spice Girls have had a multitude of smashes since they first formed on the now-defunct X-Factor UK. This new album will also feature five new songs.
The album is an ode to fans and properly titled Between Us. The girls said the following in a statement:
“We are so excited about this album. It includes all our hits, as well as some brand new songs we can’t wait for you to hear. We can’t thank you all enough for your support over the last ten years… this album is for each and every one of you who’s listened to our music, bought an album or sung your heart out at one of our shows. We wouldn’t be here releasing this album if it wasn’t for you.”
Over the past several weeks, I have heard on multiple occasions from sources close to the girls that they might be looking to take a prolonged hiatus after this new album and their upcoming tour. However, they are still working on even more new music.
Their former member Jesy Nelson is also readying a new single called ‘Boyz’ featuring Nicki Minaj. It is set for release on Aug. 27, but a Sept. release date has also been mentioned.
