Lady Gaga seems to really love having a residency show in Las Vegas.
The pop star is currently in talks with MGM Resorts for a potential extension of her contract which has about a year left. The contract was signed for 3-years in late 2017 with somewhere between 50 to 75 shows, but the pandemic inadvertently extended it. Gaga is very interested in staying put in Sin City as it gives her more flexibility with everything else going on in her career.
A source close to the giant Vegas hospitality and entertainment company tells us that Gaga has expressed interest in re-signing, but that talks are in their initial stages. A revamp of her Enigma pop show is also being discussed with her Jazz And Piano show remaining on their entertainment lineup. The latter has been more popular on the Vegas strip. At one point, there was also talks about not bringing back a pop show at all. As of now, a version of Enigma is expected to return in her next round of shows.
Mother Monster is closing out her latest string of dates at Park Theater this weekend with Jazz And Piano before she starts promotion on her new movie House Of Gucci. Her touring plans for Chromatica remain on hold following the coronavirus pandemic. No word on whether or not those will go on as planned.
