JoJo is ready to get things rolling post-pandemic, but she’s definitely putting those terrible pandemic feelings into music. The singer has announced a 12-song EP called Trying Not To Think About It as well as a 6-date tour across the country.
She said about her upcoming effort:
“Trying Not To Think About It is a result of feeling sooooo lost, scared, and confused at the end of 2020 – desperate to believe in/find my light once again. Sometimes we feel like we’re the only ones. But we NEVER are alone in our darkness. If you listen, I hope this project makes you feel seen, validated, not crazy, and hopeful that you won’t feel bad forever. You’re more in control than you think.”
The lead single off of the EP comes out this Friday, Aug. 20, and it is called ‘Worst (I Assume).’ The EP comes out Oct. 1.
Her tour kicks off Oct. 2 in Boston and wraps up Oct. 11 in Los Angeles. Tiara Thomas will serve as the opening act for this intimate show.
