Jennifer Hudson was handpicked by Aretha Franklin to star in her biopic. It is such a honor that could only work for someone as talented as Hudson. As the star of the new film Respect, Hudson has big shoes to fill. But if her tribute performance on Good Morning America is any indication of it, she’s rightfully the chosen one.
