Billie Eilish made her headlining set at weekend two of Coachella extra special when she brought out Paramore’s Hayley Williams to perform the band’s biggest hit ‘Misery Business.’ Joined by Finneas on guitar, the two singers belted out the song acoustically to a raving sea of festival-goers in one of the highlights of the weekend.
“Hi! Wow. This is my first Coachella,” Williams said before thanking Eilish for allowing her to take the stage with her. “Thanks for sharing this with me—this is sick!”

This was seen as a big deal considering that back in 2018 Williams made it clear that she was never performing this song live again. At the time, her announcement came amid controversy when people started touting the song as anti-feminist. She said they would retire the song “for a long time.” It only took Coachella, Billie, and four years to do it all over again.
Fans online sounded off on the performance giving it much praise including Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden. Others noted that Williams was sporting her iconic orange hair. Some even touted this moment as a signal that punk is alive and well.
Hayley sounds perfect Live it’s crazy how easy she makes that look and Billie on the harmonies is 🔥 https://t.co/KilTSw5ssO
