Camila Cabello is taking fans behind-the-scenes of the music video for her new bop ‘Don’t Go Yet.’ Dubbed as the ‘Familia’ version, the video is a montage of clips from rehearsals, fun moments, and the actual recording of the music video.
Her family was on set during the recording of the music video. When she first announced this as her lead single, she revealed that the album – aptly titled Familia – was inspired by her upbringing.
“This album was inspired by two things: family & food,” Cabello tweeted. “Your family by blood, but also your chosen family. Who you want to sit at the dinner table, get wine-drunk, & dance in the living room with.”
You can hear and see those Cuban and Mexican influences in her new song and video. The song has been well-received by fans and critics alike, so it just proves that you should always be uniquely you.
“To me, those are the moments that make me glad to be alive, those moments of collective joy & true vulnerability & connection with other people. I hope you enjoy it & I hope it inspires many wine drunk kitchen dance parties for you & your familia.”
