A turn in tide is beginning to happen when it comes to pop sensation- now Grammy-award winning artist – Lizzo. Some people love her, and apparently now, some people are starting to get over her. Unfortunately, I think this has to do with an exposure problem. We’ve been a getting a lot of Lizzo lately – and we are getting even more in two weeks.
The BRIT Awards announced that the ‘Juice’ singer will also perform at their ceremony on Feb. 18 in London. That’s appropriate considering she had a massive year last year, but nominations-wise she is only up for one award.
Also announced was British rapper Dave. Not a lot of people know about him here in the US, but he is actually killing it overseas. Along with Lewis Capaldi, he is the most nominated at the ceremony with a total of four nods.
Previously announced performers include (another excessively booked artist) Billie Eilish, Celeste, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, and Stormzy.
We’ve reached that point towards the end of award season where you are just longing for new music from new artists, or the ones that have disappeared to take a break or because they just aren’t it anymore. There are so many performances of ‘Truth Hurts’ that can be done. I do not want to get tired of Lizzo. I do not want to get tired of Lizzo.
