Billie Eilish has released the music video for ‘everything i wanted.’ Her latest single featured on the reissue of her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
The video was directed by Eilish herself. It starts with a nice message dedicated to her brother: ‘finneas is my brother and my best friend. no matter the circumstance, we always have and always will be there for each other.’ It features the two siblings driving a car down a highway until they reach the beach and ultimately accelerate into the water. They sit still as water starts pouring into the car and the video wraps up.
It’s not hard to see the meaning of the simple yet effective visual.
With the release of the music video today, we can only speculate that she will do the song’s television debut performance this Sunday at the Grammy Awards. Eilish is nominated for six awards in the Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Pop Vocal Album, and Pop Solo Performance categories.
