SCOOB! the movie is out today. While we are excited for the new film with our favorite cartoon dog and the rest of the gang, the soundtrack is what has our attention. We last heard ‘Summer Feelings‘ from Lennon Stella and Charlie Puth, but now we got Thomas Rhett and Kane Brown joined by Ava Max in ‘On Me.’
The song itself is pretty good. It touches on the theme of friendship – which is always appropriate for children movies. The video reflects that as between seeing the three singers, we get small scenes of the friendship between Shaggy and Scooby Doo. Country and pop music have been fused in the last few years more than ever before. And, it has worked. That is why it is safe to say that Ava’s vocals mix well with Rhett’s and Brown’s.

Perhaps Ava starts doing more cross-genre stuff with artists like Rhett and Brown in the future. She is able to adapt to the tiny twang in country-pop songs just right. She could have some success similar to when Bebe Rhexa collaborated with Florida Georgia Line.
Other songs on the soundtrack that caught our eye were the R3HAB collaboration with A R I Z O N A ‘Feel Alive’ as well as ‘I Fly’ from Galantis featuring Faouzia. You can stream the entire soundtrack, SCOOB! The Album, below with Apple Music.
