‘I’m cryiiiiin’ cuz I love you…’
Continuing her self-love message on Valentine’s Day ‘cuz that’s great marketing, Lizzo is still pushing her overdone singles from last year’s Cuz I Love You album. Thank goodness they are all pretty great so it’s all good. (Even though new music this year would be dope!)
Today, on love day, Lizzo shared the lyric video for her song ‘Cuz I Love You.’ A song about perhaps regretting losing the one she loved or perhaps of an unrequited love.
It’s a rather cool move for a lyric video as everything is hand-drawn. It’s Lizzo (naked because body positivity duh) crying about it in a hotel room. The lyrics are carefully placed throughout each scene while her voice blasts in the background in the grandiose musical arrangement.
It’s truly an underrated song. Move over, ‘Truth Hurts,’ move ovah!
Lizzo said in a message to fans, ‘Hey y’all, Happy Self-Love Day! Just wanted to tell you how much I love each and every one of you. I’m truly grateful for all of your support.
