Saturday Night Live is about to wrap up its 44th season next month, and they are bringing the big acts to close things out. Today, they announced that Shawn Mendes, the Jonas Brothers, and DJ Khaled are the final musical guests of the season.

Shawn Mendes will appear on the show May 4, 2019. Adam Sandler will host for the first time. Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers are on with Emma Thompson – also hosting for the first time – on the May 11, 2019 episode. Paul Rudd and DJ Khaled will close out the season on May 18, 2019. And quite frankly, it is a very fair guess to say that Khaled will have at least two special guests.

Mendes is wrapping up the European leg of his self-titled world tour, and his appearance happens right in between that and his massive summer North American leg. I doubt he will release any other song as a single, so expect a nice little couple of hits as the performances on the show.

Obviously, the Jonas Brothers are coming in strong with the huge reception during this comeback. Their new singles ‘Sucker’ and ‘Cool’ are likely to be performed. Personally, I would love if they chose one of those and did one of their old hits. But promo is promo sis.

DJ Khaled is releasing his eleventh studio album Father of Asahd the day before his SNL appearance. He does have a couple singles out, but it is likely that he will perform whatever new single he releases in the next few weeks. If you keep up with Khaled on social media, you know he is working on a song with SZA – so expect that!

If you missed it last weekend, BTS performed on SNL for the first time!
