Kodak Black just provided a perfect example of a reason why the hip-hop game is looked down upon at times. Not only is he being banned from the biggest Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106, but he probably won’t ever have a chance to get at Lauren London.
During an Instagram Live, Black had the audacity of making some absolutely disrespectful comments about London following the death of her partner and rapper Nipsey Hussle. He said that she was ‘a whole ass widow,’ that he would give her a year to ‘cry and shit’ before he made any moves towards her. Gross.
Not only is the whole world mourning the death of Hussle, but London is probably the most affected by this. She is going through the grieving process. Comments like the ones Black made are completely uncalled for and thankfully people are responding to them negatively.
Power 106 personality Justin Credible stated that Power 106 was going to stop playing Black’s music.
We stand with the family of Nipsey Hussle and are appalled by the disrespectful and poor comments made by Kodak Black. With that, Power 106 will not support Kodak Black’s music. #LongLiveNip 🏁🏁🏁

Smart, good move. Hopefully all the other stations across the country follow through. Even though in reality, Black’s music isn’t spinning too much. Who wants to listen to that? 😂
