Nipsey Hussle: Lauren London Speaks, Suspect Bail Set, ‘Victory Lap’ To Top Charts

Lauren London has spoken out for the first time since Nipsey Hussle’s murder in Los Angeles over the weekend. She took to Instagram to share a photo of Hussle with a few words of mourning and memory.

She wrote, ‘I am completely lost. I’ve lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul. I’m lost without you. We are lost without you babe. I have no words.’

London and Hussle spent six years together and share a son. They were broke up their relationship in late 2017, but got back together. There were rumors about them potentially getting engaged as recently as last February.

Suspect Bail Set

Hussle was shot to death outside his clothing store in Los Angeles last Sunday, March 31. The suspect, Eric Holder, fled the scene inside a getaway vehicle being driven by a female driver. Holder was arrested on Tuesday, April 2, in Lakewood, California.

Holder’s bail has been set at $7 million by the Los Angeles Police Department. He is being kept in solitary confinement for his safety as police feel he could be targeted. Many people want to get their hands on Holder. It was obvious that if police hadn’t captured him, he would have probably been murdered by someone too in revenge for what happened.

‘Victory Lap’ To Top Charts Next Week

Following the death of Hussle, his 2018 highly-appraised debut album Victory Lap is making its way to the top of the Billboard Hot 200 chart. This would give him his first ever number one album. Unfortunately, the high streaming numbers coming after his death. While he won’t be able to be here to enjoy it, at least it will be added to his legacy.
