Ozzy Osbourne Postpones European Dates Due To Flu

Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to postpone the first four dates of the European leg of his No More Tours 2 due to a bad case of the flu. Apparently, it is so bad that he even popped a blood vessel in his eye from coughing so hard.

The dates affected are in Dublin (Jan. 31), Nottingham (Feb. 2), Manchester (Feb. 3), and Newcastle (Feb. 5). They are said to be rescheduled to a later date, but details have yet to be released. The tour will resume Feb. 7 in Glasgow, followed by dates in Birmingham and London, and then the rest of Europe.

The news comes from support act Judas Priest. They posted the following statement on their website.

‘It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu – therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date – details to follow once finalised – we are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans – we wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together – and to the rescheduled ones in the future.’

Hopefully Ozzy heals soon and no more dates get rescheduled.
