Maren Morris Announces ‘Girl: The World Tour’

A Texas girl traveling all over the world!

Maren Morris has definitely prepped for 2019 to be a massive year. The country singer, who enjoyed great success from her Zedd-collaboration ‘The Middle’ last year, is heading out on the road for a big world tour. Girl: The World Tour will take her show through North America, Europe, and Australia.

Like we reported yesterday on our social media outlets, Morris is releasing her new single ‘Girl’ later today. I have a feeling that this will be the lead single of an album of the same name. And speaking of girls, she is taking her country counterparts Cassadee Pope and RaeLynn with her for the shows in the United States. They will be performing on different shows though.

This sounds like a cool idea to theme this new era around. While we don’t know the content of the song and eventually the album, it could be possible that she is going to head into a women empowerment direction. I can imagine this happening based on how she said that it was a very ‘timely song.’ I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Morris is also nominated for three GRAMMY’s alongside Zedd for ‘The Middle.’ It is nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. I’d comfortably bet that they are going to take at least one of these trophies home.

Tickets for Girl: The World Tour will be released Jan. 22.
