Madonna performed a historic two-song set at Stonewall Inn in New York City on New Year’s Eve. The queen of pop was there to ring in the new year in a place where the LGBT community experienced an important, tragic time in their civil rights movement 50 years ago. However, the most important thing of the whole ordeal was not the symbolism of Madonna’s performance nor the songs she was singing … everyone seemed to be focused on her butt.

As you can see, people started speculating as to what had been done to her buttocks. It is clear that either she had them done (in a bad way, sorry Madge) or she was wearing padding. Either way, that set off the internet in one of the first moments of 2019. And, Madonna has something to say about that.
She added as a caption on the photo (above) she posted on Instagram earlier today: ‘Desperately Seeking No Ones Approval………………😂. And Entitled to Free Agency Over My Body Like Everyone Else!! Thank you 2019 🎉🎉🎉! Its Going to Be an amazing Year!! 🔥🔥🔥! #2019#freedom #respect #nofear#nodiscrimination‘
She’s at an age where she doesn’t give a damn what people have to say and she feels completely comfortable with her body. I am so excited to see what she has up her sleeve this year – she is set to release her next album this 2019.
