Zayn just dropped a massive pop ballad that has everyone, including Louis Tomlinson, suspicious and confused as to whether he is making references to his time in One Direction.
The 25-year old singer is gearing up for the release of his sophomore solo album, Icarus Falls, due Dec. 14. He just put out another teaser called ‘Good Years,’ which is quite amazing. The only problem is that his lyrics could be cryptically suggesting that he, unsurprisingly, did not enjoy his time with One Direction.
His former bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, seems to think the same. After all, lyrics such as ‘I pray to God I didn’t waste all my good years’ from someone that is so young cannot be too hard to figure out. His life so far has been being on One Direction and leaving One Direction, nothing else.
Tomlinson tweeted ‘Proper confused. What a hypocrite!’ just hours after the release of Zayn’s single.
Proper confused. What a hypocrite!

I personally Zayn’s shady ass. I also can’t wait for his new album. It’s just a week away!
