Ellie Goulding Performs ‘Close To Me,’ Covers The Weeknd’s ‘Call Out My Name’ On BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge

Ellie Goulding stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge for a cool session of tunes. The singer performed her Diplo collab ‘Close To Me’ which features Swae Lee. She also did a cover of The Weeknd’s ‘Call Out My Name.’

While she nailed her own song, she fell short on the cover. It just didn’t have the feeling that The Weeknd is able to evoke when he performs the song. It didn’t feel genuine. It was just okay.
