Daniel Hernandez, a.k.a. Tekashia69, has been given a trial date of September 4, 2019, and it looks like the pedophile troubled rapper from Brooklyn will remain incarcerated until then.

His lawyer will attempt a direct bail with the judge involved with the case, but it seems unlikely that anything will come out of it. For his safety, Tekashi has been transferred to a secluded private facility used for witness protection. While some say that it was because he ratted his old crew, his lawyer made it clear that it was simply because of some threats he had against him.

On top of that, prosecutors have revealed that they have a ‘confidential informant’ that may be assisting them with more regarding Tekashi69’s criminal past. Apparently, there are recordings from this informant that will be part of the prosecutor’s plan moving forward with the trial next year.

Tekashi69 faces 17 different criminal charges – from racketeering to possession of weapons – and accusations of being involved with a prominent gang in Brooklyn. He denies most of these charges and plead not guilty.

This could lead to him facing a life sentence.

In a little more positive news for the rapper, DJ Akademiks alleges that 6ix9ines new album DUMMY BOY will see the light of day today. That is yet to be confirmed, but some of the album did leak this week.
