Coldplay Change Their Name To Los Unidades, Listen To New Song With Pharrell

A year ago, Chris Martin proclaimed that A Head Full Of Dreams – (one of my absolute favorite albums and music eras of all time; the tour was unbelivable too) would be the last installment of the Coldplay catalog in a way. And well, apparently he wasn’t kidding.

After UK record label Parlophone Records unveiled the signing of Los Unidades yesterday, a new song featuring Pharrell dropped today called ‘E-Lo.’ The song is part of an EP from Global Citizen – the organization, in which Martin is heavily involved, that looks to end poverty by the year 2030. The EP will also feature Danny Ocean, David Guetta, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest, Stargate, Stormzy, and Jess Kent.

Global Citizen is holding another music festival this Sunday. This time it will take place in Johnnaesburg. Since Coldplay’s, or should I say Los Unidades, frontman Chris Martin is the curator of the organization’s festivals for the next 15 years – he will obviously be performing along with his ‘new-formed’ band.

Check out ‘E-Lo’ below.
