Jay-Z Is The World’s Highest-Paid Rapper, According To Forbes

Jay-Z has been named the world’s highest-paid hip-hop artist by financial magazine Forbes. He takes the throne from Diddy, who fallen down to the second place after topping the list for the last couple of years.

Beyonce’s husband raked in a whopping $76.5 million. This includes earnings from his many assets including Roc Nation, Roc Nation Sports, Tidal, etc. Additionally, he brought in a good amount from his records and two world tours – one for his album 4:44 and his on-going headlining tour with Beyonce, On The Run II.

Other rappers at the higher side of the list include Kendrick Lamar and Drake, and the list’s first appearance from legendary Nas. Notably absent from the list this year from last year is Nicki Minaj – who has been struggling with an album that did not hit number one and having to postpone her tour due to poor ticket sales.
