Paramore shocked all of their fans last night at their first ever Paramore Art + Friends Festival in Nashville when they revealed that they will no longer perform perhaps their biggest hit ever ‘Misery Business’ live for a very long time. This year the song turned 10 years old.

Lead vocalist Hayley Williams told the audience, ‘Tonight we’re playing this song for the last time for a really long time. This is a choice that we’ve made because we feel that we should. We feel like it’s time to move away from it for a little.’

I’m a little heartbroken and upset all at the same time.

It’s no secret that the reason why that song is being taken away from live shows it because of the line ‘Once a whore, you’re nothing more/ I’m sorry that’ll never change’ – which is now controversial given the very feminist times we live in.

Sure, the lyric is not necessarily the most accurate – but stop being so damn SENSITIVE. It’s so annoying, honestly.

I’m sad watching this performance, which you can watch below.
