During her world tour in 2016, Adele promised that she was going to take a very long break from music – kind of like what she did between her high-selling albums 21 and 25. However, it looks like that break is coming to an end as the British songstress has begun work on her fourth studio album.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, Adele held a meeting with music executives at Sony’s headquarters in London earlier this month to discuss the follow-up to the highly successful 25 album.
An insider that was apparently present at the meeting spilled the beans on some details regarding her new work.
‘She’s back in the UK and intends to write here. A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her and she’s already penned some of the songs.’
Additionally, it was revealed that Adele is eyeing a release around Christmas time in 2019. Nonetheless, it is always exciting when she releases new music. We can’t wait!
