The Made In America Festival was created by Jay-Z and TIDAL back in 2012 and is going on its sixth year now, so it was only appropriate to have two of the biggest names in music headlining. Nicki Minaj and Post Malone are set to close out both nights of Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia.
Nicki Minaj, who blessed us with not one but two new singles (‘Chun Li’ and ‘Barbie Tingz’), is expected to have her fourth studio album Queen out by then. She was originally scheduled to release it this month, but is now choosing Aug. 10 as the official date.
Meanwhile, Post Malone has been enjoying the success of his critically-acclaimed effort Beerbongs & Bentleys. This will mark the first time Malone appears at a Made In America Festival. He will be fresh off a lengthy summer tour that includes individual and festival dates across North America and Europe.
Other acts on the lineup include Meek Mill, Diplo, Zedd, Miguel, Janelle Monae, Alessia Cara, and others.
Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday, June 8 and it takes place at Benjamin Franklin Parkway Sept. 1 and 2 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
